It was Gus’ last day at school before we head off on our adventure to Japan! We’re at the dentist getting our teeth cleaned and I thought I’d do my first post during the break.

This whole trip started after I went on a bit of a plane nerd rant to my Occupational Therapist about wanting to fly on an A380 before they all disappear as well an A350. I spoke to Rosie about having a weekend of flying around on new planes. It morphed into taking Gus, going through Japan, staying in Japan for a few days and then visiting for a few weeks. Here we are!

We’re off on Tuesday (31st October) afternoon leaving from Canberra to Tokyo via Brisbane and Singapore. We’re flying via Singapore on Singapore Airlines so I can fly on the A350 and A380 as well as two legs on a 787 on the way back.

I hope to post some pictures and stories as well as some plane nerd stuff. The map should update with where we’ve been so you can follow along if you like.
