My treat for the trip. Singapore Airlines let you upgrade flights for cheap from 72 hrs before they leave if they have seats. I was able to get Gus and I into business class for our first flight to Singapore. No such luck with Singapore to Adelaide 😕.

They have been so kind with Gus trying to find things he would like to eat. I think it’s all a bit fancy. Even offered a cup of noodles. I think Gus is happy watching his movies.

I’m not sleeping but I tried the lie flat setting. It’s pretty cool. I don’t know it it’s with the full price but at discount, knockoff, cheap Aussie traveller prices it’s a nice treat. We even get a little bag with lip balm and a clear bag to take it through customs.

I think the 787 is my second favourite plane after the A380. We’re not next to windows but I think it has the ability to dim the windows electronically and not via a normal shade so you can let a little light and still see out without blinding everyone.
